My cadet years began working with Architects in Queensland, Perth, and Canada, and then as Building Projects Manager for Ansett Airlines in Melbourne. Shortly after, I launched my own business and began renovating and refurbishing residential units and small office projects.
Taro Group and Taro Design Pty Ltd business entities were founded as this business grew. As Company Director, I utilised my construction knowledge, design and project management expertise across both small and large architectural and interior design projects, fit-outs, and installations.
My clients’ companies managed a significant portfolio of work whereas a consultant I spent several years working on commercial and residential projects, apartments, and hospitality fit-outs, ranging in value from $4 million to $70 million.
Taro Design Pty Ltd remains my privately owned entity which I retained after transferring the Taro Group subsidiary to my client, Asian Pacific Building Corporation, a Melbourne-based commercial development company.
For the most part of my career, I was in Interior Architecture working on commercial and residential projects across Australia.
